Whitestone Recording Workshops

The Whitestone Recording workshops are for anyone interested in music production, engineering and mixing, or for anyone considering a career in the music business. The workshops are lead by music industry veteran Noel Golden ( matchbox twenty, Edwin McCain, Slash, and Willie Nelson just to name a few). You’ll learn everything from room acoustics, microphone placement, and signal flow to session management and much more. The 3 day workshops run Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am-6:00pm. The workshops are limited to 6 participants at at a time to ensure optimal hands on experience. Recording Workshop News

At the Whitestone Recording workshops, you’ll go through the process learning how to mic up a full band including acoustic and electric guitars, bass, keyboards and vocals. Any and all questions are welcome and if you have your own recordings, you are more than welcome to bring them in and we’ll do our best to give them all a listen.
